of cakeaway
The story so far involves our love of cake, catering and all things home baking, a passion for delivering great quality food, cakes, scones, tray bakes and more at affordable prices and with community and cake at the heart of this. ten years ago our dream started and we have continued to develop, adding in our cakeaway van 3 years ago.
so why cake?
it's hard to believe that cake started 10 years ago! I love to bake, to cook and offering cake boxes was something that really gave me a positive focus. and led me to ignite the passion for takeaway which is how the cakeaway van then developed.

as a girlguiding leader, I've been keen to show that baking and cookery is an important life skill, and making meals from scratch is rewarding - and delicious!

we still offer cake and cookery school sessions for kids in the summer holidays, junior bake off parties and a number of previous attendees now even help at busy events.
the van
we were lucky enough to have an incredible cheer squad - who happen to also be really handy! we took on a Citroen relay van and our dream of a catering mobile took shape.
with a state of the art coffee machine, a hot grill for burgers, sausage and more and room enough for a custom built cake cabinet cake-away was ready to roll!
